Founded in 1996, the British Society for Human Genetics provides a forum for professionals involved in Genetics as a clinical service and research. Its membership is in excess of 1500 and includes a wide spectrum of clinical, laboratory and research disciplines. 

BSHG is a registered UK charity (No: 1058821). It's roles are defined by it's council and constitution.

All human genetics professionals are invited to join BSHG.
