Purpose and Limitations of this Area
The purpose of this area is to allow BSHG members to:
 | Exchange leaflets and other clinically useful documents being developed or currently in use. |
| Comment on leaflets and other material and (hopefully) improve them. |
IMPORTANT: Documents in this area have not been produced or
reviewed by BSHG.
Responsibility for their content rests entirely with their
authors.
Documents here are NOT presented for use by patients or non-genetic professionals for clinical diagnosis or management. Diagnosis and management of genetic conditions should only be undertaken by an appropriately qualified professional after careful assessment of all the individual circumstances in a case.
Members of the public are free to read and comment on these documents as BSHG recognises the importance of free exchange of ideas and values the opinions of non-professionals. However, non-members should note that:
