Genetic Counsellor, Taunton and Somerset Hospital

Grade Genetic Counsellor. Permanent, Full Time, £23,860 - £30,975 per annum We
are looking for an enthusiastic Genetic Counsellors to join the Somerset based
Clinical Genetic Service. The post will be based full-time at Taunton & Somerset
NHS Trust.
You will provide genetic counselling for a broad range of hereditary conditions
to a wide variety of patients including prenatal, foetal medicine, paediatrics,
adolescents, and adults, including familial cancers.
H Grade equivalent candidates must meet the AGNC Eligibility requirements for
Specialist Registration as a genetic counsellor. (You need not be registered
yet). Car Driver Essential. Ability or willingness to learn to take blood

Medical Laboratory Technologist, Cytogenetics, New Zealand
Applications
are invited for the position of Medical Laboratory Technologist in the
Cytogenetics Department. The successful candidate will be a New Zealand
registered medical technologist or equivalent, ideally possess an HGSA
qualification, or equivalent. The appointee will join a small, specialist team
that currently undertakes chromosome analysis for routine cases, haematological
disorders and pre-natal diagnosis, providing a service for Waikato Hospital and
the Waikato/Bay of Plenty region.
This is a
permanent, full time position. Normal hours of work are from 8.00am to 4.30pm
with some out-of-hours and weekend duties being required.
