This year there is a symposium focusing on Limb Development and a session on Dilemmas in Endocrinology with distinguished speakers
The Clinical Genetics Society Scientific Programme Committee invites authors to submit abstracts to be considered for inclusion in the programme as spoken presentations. Any member of the British Society for Human Genetics may submit abstracts. A member of the Clinical Genetics Society or British Society for Human Genetics must be cited as a co-author if the presenting author is not a member. The abstract should include statement of purpose, methods used, and summary of results in sufficient detail to support the conclusions.
Abstracts must be submitted via the website for this meeting. No other form of submission will be accepted.
All submitted abstracts must be accompanied by a valid email address. If you do not have a personal email address or web access, please ask a friend or colleague for assistance.
Closing date for abstracts was 3 January 2001
Please familiarise yourself with the layout prior to submitting your abstract, as abstracts which are not submitted correctly will be automatically rejected. You may wish to print out a preliminary copy of the submission page to assist you in preparing your abstract. The web page contains full instructions for submission. When you have filled in the form, please double check all information carefully before pressing the Submit button. Mistakes which are present in the submitted form cannot be rectified afterwards.
Do NOT submit your abstract more than once. You will be notified by email of your abstract's receipt within seven days of submission. This will be the only notification you will receive prior to the decision of the Scientific Programme Committee. If your abstract is accepted by the scientific Programme Committee for presentation, you will be notified by post.
PLEASE NOTE: Presenting authors must register for the meeting and are NOT exempt from the registration fee (about £25)
Abstract Title - Capitalise the first letter of the title and the first letter of proper nouns only. Do not include a full-stop at the end of the title. The maximum title length is 200 characters (including spaces).
Authors & Institutions - The presenting author should come first. Use the indicated pull-down box to associate each author with a single institution, which must be entered in the table provided. Up to six institutions may be represented, using one line for each. No more than ten authors may be included.
Abstract Text - It is advisable to prepare the text of your abstract on a word processor in advance, then copy and paste the entire text into the text-box on the web page. The text should be continuous, without line breaks. Do not include double quotes ("). There is a strict automatic limit of 1500 characters (enough for about 250 words), and your abstract will be truncated if it exceeds this limit. You may add your email address at the end of the abstract for publication if you wish.
