The Laboratory offers a wide range of rotational opportunities, with Scientists having the opportunity to manage and develop services in all aspects. Cytogenetics and Molecular Genetics in Sheffield have recently merged, increasing the opportunities for all staff. The successful applicant will be registered with the HPC, a team player who is looking for a challenging career in Genetics. Job description will be dependent on experience. As part of the Diagnostics Directorate the laboratory provides specialist services over a wide range of disorders and there is an expanding service for molecular oncology covering both adult and paediatric disciplines, including new developments in molecular pathology.
